Gondar College of Medical Sciences is located in Gondar, the former capital of Ethiopia.
Gondar College is the oldest medical school in Ethiopia, first established as the Public Health College in 1954.
Currently there are twenty-two departments offering training to students in eight undergraduate programmes.

what is Up Gondar University? I have heard there was no Pharm. D. programme for ethiopia.What happen to you.These peoples play the whole medical aspects to improve therapy in U.S.A.They are the major in whole aspect of therapy as I know.I think ,the time is for clinical pharmacists ,Are you still in Medical Doctor.So, please open the programme of Doctor of Pharmacy!.
I read Pharm. D as a core in therapy system of U.S.A as addis_us said. But I know that country is prosperous and there needs a large amount of money for pharmacy specialists to be graduated.Actually with in some years there will be a stablishment for Pharm. D. programme in Ethiopia.
i used to hear that gondar was one of the two best medical schools in the nation, but recently i got the chance to join to this university. from my two year observation the university owns the poorest administration, which is also crowded by close relative only which makes any change impossible and with very weak instructors
Gondar University;Gondar city both are the base of my existance.
